Fabric - 28 count Country French Cafe Mocha linen
Fibers - GAST - 2 strands over 2 threads

What a fun little piece.  I'm especially pleased with it as it has my three favorite Winter motifs: a cardinal, a mitten, and a snowman.

I had four or five Flickers come in to eat suet.

There was another male, but I was not able to get a photo of it.

Cold and Colder

Design - "Snow"
Chart - "Tiny Tidings XX"
Designer - Lizzie Kate
Fabric - 32 count Blue Petite Dot linen
Fibers - WDW & DMC - 2 strands over 2 threads
Started - 9 January 2016
Completed - 11 January 2016

It's cold out and is supposed to get colder still has the week progresses.
No moisture though, so no snow.

Here's Mr. Reliable.

A male Flicker

I often see a male and female eating suet for breakfast.

Woodpeckers tend to "freeze" when there is something they perceive as dangerous.

This guy was frozen for several minutes. I neve saw anything that might have disturbed him.
