I dropped by Hiron's the other day to look at their fall displays.

And all of them pretty darned cute!

Lots of wonderful Halloween displays.

I'm kinda partial to the orange and black spotted cream colored pumpkin.

Most of the Band-tailed Pigeons are gone, but there are still a couple around.

Look at the crop of Douglas fir cones in that tree!

A California Scrub Jay

Rarely seen - a Scrub Jay and Steller's Jay at the feeders at the same time.

A great way to compare the two birds.

A couple of Robins came by Sunday morning.

They headed over to the Hawthorn.

And shockingly, began to eat.

I say shockingly, because I've never seen any bird eat Hawthorn berries.

But yes!
