I heard the Violet-green Swallows chattering this morning.

I thought they were encouraging their babies to fly.

Instead, a pair seems to be house hunting.

It's not too late to bring off a brood.

They're back!

At the end of January there was just one bird.

A Band-tailed pigeon.

I made the Lane  County, Oregon Rare Bird Report on ebird as it is early for them to show up.
