Thursday after dinner I could see a group of small birds flitting among the tops of young Douglas fir trees.

It was a mixed flock of Kinglets.

Golden-crowned Kinglets

With a white stripe above the eye.

And with this one you can see the golden crown atop its head.

And Ruby-crowned Kinglets.

They were happy, so no display of the ruby crown. 

So hard to capture with a camera.

Very small and constantly flitting.

This is the best shot.

Very special to get to see such a large group of small birds.
