Saturday's Critters

We had a big bull snake slither by in the head of the afternoon.

I think it was looking for some shade and ended up under the woodpile.

The squirrel held tough, but the doe eventually took for the seed tray. 


These are last years twins.
I think they are now without their mother.  Fortunately they have each other for companionship and protection.

And here's a new mother with her fawn.

They stick VERY close together and she does not linger. 

I think we may have two does with fawns.
I feel like I've seen a larger fawn.


This fawn is quite small.

The fawn is precious. The snake not so much.
