Could that be be a groundhog? They are about that same shape, but I *think* they are more active at dawn/dusk usually. Was that bear breathing on the camera fogging up the lens, or checking out if it was edible?
I was thinking a groundhog/woodchuck in the 'beaver' pictures. It looks like you had two different bear visitors, Beth. Happy Saturday!
Oh my that Bear came quite close to the camera. Maybe he/she wanted a selfie.
