Words to live by.
On a wet and windy day, a squirrel found my front feeders.
(Please excuse the raindrops on the window)
The suet feeder seemed to be the favorite.
He had no problem nibbling away at the suet.
The peanuts were harder to get, but worth the effort.
Some folks call squirrels "rats with fluffy tails".
He is looking very "rodentish".
"Who me?"
"Yes you. I'm talking about you!"
On cold and wet days, Parvati likes to hang out on the clothes drier vent.

Those are cute squirrel pictures. I do find them bothersome though. Mabel will chase them. Henry runs away!
Yea, squirrels are kinda cute, but they sure eat alot! Love the Harvest Blessings finish. My little dog loved to lay on under the dryer vent too. She would come in and always smell like clean laundry, lol.
Oh my, what a pretty pumpkin - well done. Love the squirrel pics too.
Nice finish! lol about the squirrel! Do you usually try to chase squirrels away?
Lovely stitching, as always!!
I do think little fat squirrels are so cute, but they really can be a pest at times!! My father used to love to feed and watch the birds. He had a feeder similar to the one in your photos, and the squirrels would get all the bird food. One day he decided to grease the pole.....he laughed and laughed as they would go up really fast and slide right back down. It was the best entertainment!
I really like Heart in Hand Designs... you did a great job as always. When my sister was here, she fed a squirrel her apple core every single day. He grew quite dependent on getting that each day, and when it was not there... we got a scolding! Rascal!
As we dont have squirrels here I can enjoy them as cute creatures specially love how you captured the squirrel in the first photo
What a cute picture of Parvati! A very smart cat! My DH has an ongoing war with a squirrel. So far squirrel 5 DH 0!
Beth, what great pictures of the squirrel! They are certainly determined where food is involved. I enjoyed your deer pictures and the jays chasing the hawk. I can't believe how many jays you have!
A great cross stitch and definitely words to live by.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
Ha :) I love the photos of the squirrels--they are such entertaining creatures! And what a cute new finish, Beth...
Wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Squirrels are cute, but rats are cuter. :)
Cute stitching and those squirrels looked very mischievous. Parvati looks to have the best seat in the house!
