I am quite taken with the darling little screech owl.
Here are all three of the Cricket Collection owls.
It's Tuesday and I'm still in a Garden Party Mood!
So is Parvati - she's making sure there are no chipmunks in my green house.
I am so impressed with this cone flower. It has bloomed and bloomed and bloomed.
So has my pot of red moss roses.
My mom and I went to a local nursery last week.
There were several kinds of ornamental cabbage.
It was hard to chose.
And boy is it ever Chrysanthemum Time!
This display was in University of Oregon colors - bright yellow and green.
I like purples myself.
I took a moment Sunday to sit and admire my sister's Dahlia Garden.
Don't they echo the colors of autumn?

Love those CEC owls. So much fun! The ornamental cabbages remind me of one of Kaffe Fassett's fabrics. It's probably not a cabbage on the fabric though?? Not sure. Love the cone flowers and the dahlias too. Beautiful! Lovely mums!
What a wonderful post. Love the display of dahlias you shared.
Just adorable--think he is my favorite of the three! I had no idea there were so many varieties of dahlias--they're so gorgeous!
The owls are so cute! I think this one is my favorite. I haven't taken a close look at the monthly word charts, and didn't realize the owls were the small mitten add on to them. I've done the four seasonal words by Cricket, but have no desire to do the monthly words. However, the owls may tempt me to buy one or two charts....
Great set of owl mittens - must stitch them too.... Well done.
I love those mittens. :D
I just love that entire mitten collection. If I were a better finisher, I would try ornaments!! Love all the flower photos. As usual, your sister's dahlias are exceptional.
Love your mitten pieces. Glorious flowers.
Ahhh! These are so cute!!
