I'd planned to take you on a walk today...
..but I thought sharing this was better still!
Sunday morning about 9:00am a movement caught my eye as I looked out the breakfast nook window.
I grabbed my camera, and walked through the garage to take a better look.
A Bob-cat in the back yard! Thank goodness I'd just taken the cats inside.
Look at the muscles, at the shoulders on this animal.
The cat was extremely calm while I watched and took photos.
Yes, it was well aware that I was watching.
It stayed for about five minutes.
It even yawned a couple of times and closed its eyes.
It even yawned a couple of times and closed its eyes.
Then off it went. So yes, sometimes I do see some pretty amazing creatures during daylight hours. It will be interesting to see what the trail camera captured from this encounter.
It really does look like an extra big house cat. A wonderful encounter ... from a distance. :)
