Saturday's Critters

First off I wanted to say thank you to everyone who took the time to comment on the loss of our dear Padma-cat. If you did not get an email response from me, know that is because you are set up as no-reply in Google/Blogger.  I read everyone's message and took comfort from all of your kind words.

It must be spring, because we have lots and loads of chipmunks.
They are now waiting for me on the back patio, if I do not get the sunflowers out early enough.

I've told them over and over that it much safer to wait on the woodpile.

Patience is rewarded!

I think I counted seven on Friday.

It makes for a very active woodpile!
Lots of scurrying about.

And yes, they are on the front porch too.

The gray squirrels try and try to attack my feeders.

The bunnies eat sunflowers, but also are content to graze.

I think this bunny is the same some as...

...this bunny based on ear notches.

Waiting for sunflowers.

I wish I could share some of the action shots from when they
play Bunny Tag - it is adorable!

Let's not forget the deer.

You are an important part of our Saturday Critters.

  5. Your photos are fantastic. We are having lots of trouble with grey squirrels getting in our attic and causing damage. Any suggestions? RJ

  7. The chipmunks are so cute. So are the rabbits. I'm still too fresh from winter and the way they attacked my feeders to think the squirrels are cute!
