I changed my mind - I'm working on the American Robin.
It just seemed like the right thing to do...
...after much thoughtful consideration!
Even though - this!
I had a Red-winged Blackbird show up!
I also spied a Warbling Vireo.
I noticed the bird flitting around in the brush - behaving very differently than the Pine Siskins and American Goldfinches.
The bird did not sing, so the white eyebrow helped me to correctly ID it.
Lovely set of photos, I do like the American Robin. Take care Diane

Oh yes a Robin is a great choice this time of the year!!
ReplyDeleteand I love trying to identify birds--missing seeing new ones as I haven't seen any new ones lately--I did see a small bird today literally chasing a large turkey vulture through the air--was funny to watch how scared that large bird was and how brave that little bird was!!!!
enjoy, di
