A year later I finished up this WIP. I am thankful and grateful as most of us should be.
We've had lots of rainy days.
This Cooper's Hawk was perched between showers, attempting to dry off a bit.
He can turn his head almost as far as an owl - a raptor's trait.
I had over 70 Pine Siskins on Friday. I counted 23 in this photo.
Beth, I was thrilled to see the owl done this morning but boy, I'm overjoyed with seeing the hawk!! I love how his tailfeathers are spread, what a great shot!!! Yes, I'm thankful to have discovered your blog and Love the stitch! Mary
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your chalk finish! This is one of my favorites. There were times while I was teaching when I wished my neck could do that.
ReplyDeleteYou are on a roll with your stitching! Love it!
ReplyDeleteThat is the most beautiful tail on the hawk! You must find some of his feathers to save! He is a stunning fellow!
Beth another super stitch. I have not tried a chalkboard stitch yet but was looking at alot of them last night and I'm very tempted. The hawk is a stunning bird and what an awesome shot you got. RJ@stitchingfriendsforever
