I worked on "Little Boo" watching a long, late night Oregon football game on Saturday, so I got a good start on the mitten and owl.
The American Goldfinches continue to delight in the seeds of my volunteer verbena bonariensis. I like the muted colors of the spent blossoms and the winter feathers.
With autumn, I am seeing lots more Robins.
Birds of a Feather Splash Together.
They also drink together.
And watch...
...and chat.
Love all of your owls! I have several grand daughters that love Owls! Your mitten is looking great. I love anything to do with mitten and sleds, LOL! Guess I'll always be a kid at heart when it comes to them,
ReplyDeleteI like the purple of your mitten. Gorgeous photos. Your robins seem very different to ours!
ReplyDeleteLove the purple in your mitten! The pics of the birdbath with the birds are great!
ReplyDeleteWe've never had robins. I'm not sure if they come this far south. I'd love for you to share this on The Maple Hill Hop!
ReplyDeletegorgeous ♥
ReplyDeleteLove seeing the robins on the birdbath, Beth--didn't realize they would like drinking and socializing so much :)
ReplyDeleteYour mitten is coming along nicely--looks like a fun one to stitch!
Hubby and I took a walk tonight, and saw the most Robins I have EVER seen!! They were everywhere, getting ready for night time... There must have been a dozen or more on the neighbor's lawn as we walked back up our street! I saw a muted Goldfinch today... briefly on the feeders. NO picture. Hugs!
