It's Show and Tell Time!
I took advantage of my visit to Friendship Crossing to replenish some of the GAST & WDW colors that I frequently use.
I also bought pre-cut fabric in Summer Khaki, R & R 18th Century, natural linen, natural Cashel, white Cashel, and a grab-bag of small cuts useful for ornaments and the like.
So what about the Nashville introductions you may ask.
Well I found four kits: one with with gray bunny, a curious chickadee, an Easter theme, and a bee skep. A couple of the kits include the trim and fabric to finish. There's a challenge for me!
I am waiting for a bespoke cut of R & R's Confederate Gray to start on Bent Creek's "Begin". The colors are wonderful and the saying "A journey of a thousand miles begins with one step" resonates with me. I've recently become a real fan of Hands on Design and hope to purchase some of her other new charts.
As you can see Heart in Hand's new series "Joyful Journal" hit my hot button.
Remember how I mentioned that I was a sucker for stitched models? Well, Country Cottage Needlework's "Snow Sampler" (on the right) was so very pretty and the sparkly fabric looked like fun so in my bag they jumped.
I'll leave you with a bit of a puzzle. Any ideas why I decided to purchase the Cricket Collection chart "On the Seventh Day of Christmas"? No prizes awarded for the correct answer, but long time Followers will probably be able to figure it out.
Nice stash haul!
ReplyDeleteI am loving the Joyful Journals too!
Well, I'm guessing you liked the woodpecker - rat-TA-tat??
ReplyDeleteI like the cow & swan too.
Love your stash . You'll be busy.
I love your stash! You made some great choices! I'm looking forward to getting back to Memphis sometime to see the Nashville market items in person.
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing that the Cricket Collection appealed to you because of the birds (especially the woodpecker)....but I could be wrong!!
I have always loved Cricket Collection and have several of their charts, but not this series.
Whoo hoo! You did great!
ReplyDeleteLove the woodpecker. ;)
Great stash! As for why you bought the CEC -- what they said. lol!
ReplyDeleteWhat great stash Beth! My guess is for the woodpecker (although they all have or are birds). I have really enjoyed my Nashville shopping and think I need to live to be to 200 to get to everything!
ReplyDeleteNow that's what I call a shopping trip!
ReplyDeleteI'd say that the Seventh Day of Christmas appealed to you because of the shape of the ornaments to be stitched.
Just wonderful stash! I have followed you for a long time, but am at a lose. Maybe that's because I slept poorly last night and find myself very tired.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a great stash haul! I love everything you bought but especially the market charts in the first photo. Looking forward to seeing some of these on your blog!

ReplyDeleteWonderful choices - I bought that same bunny one myself. :) blessings, marlene
ReplyDeleteGreat new stash! I'm stitching the Year in Chalk designs and I'm using the suggested fabric but I HATE the fabric.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great haul! Lots of fun hours of stitching ahead! I too have the Cricket Collection chart, but I bought it for the adorable cow! I stitched him without the numbers and he now hangs in my friends kitchen, year round!
ReplyDeleteYou really know how to acquire stash! You have blog fodder to keep you going for a long time! :)
ReplyDeleteYup--you definitely got a few new things!! I would guess because two out of three of the designs are BIRDS! :)
ReplyDeleteI need you to send all of these items to me immediately because I'm going to be morose until I own them and, let's face it, that's totally your fault. THANKSSSSSSSsssssss!!! :)
