It's Wednesday and we should walk.
I continue to admire the changes in light and moisture now that it is fall.

The early morning sunlight strikes the tall second-growth while leaving the younger trees in shade.

Many mornings now foggy.

Wisps of low clouds drift by.

Nothing though tops the pretty droplets of moisture that adhere to the needles of the trees.

The thirsty ground has already responded to the recent rains.
Look at all the tiny plants that have germinated in the past week!

Not much change in this Big Leaf Maple during the past week.  I do think it has a bit more yellow.

A short walk this week - we'll blame the cooler wet weather!
