Who Knows What Today Will Bring...

I have lots of Valentine appropriate charts...

...and kits too!
Possibly more than I can stitch for the next several Februarys.

Let's take a small Bird Break...
Cuz...we have some really, really cute bunnies!

The other day I counted five of them!

Big bunnies and smaller bunnies.

I told Elmer Fudd Tom-Cat that "Every Bunny has to eat!  Not everyone has to eat a bunny!"

This mother and child are around almost every morning.

And back to the birds...

I bought a new bird feeder.

Already I have lots of action from both kinds of Chickadees.

See what I mean?

And the House Finches flocked to it.  I think it is a hit!

I wrote this post Wednesday evening.  Our weather forecast changed dramatically yesterday with the possibility of 3"-7" of snow beginning early Thursday morning; and thus the title of today's post.

  1. Wowie zowie! You have lots of charts to pick from, that is for sure. =)
    What sweet pictures today.
I am wondering. Are you having the snow now?

  2. The weather forecasters keep telling us how good all this snow is for our fields, gardens and yards as the melting snow will provide vital nourishment to the soil (Hubby says it just means we'll have to mow more this summer, lol).

This morning I heard that much needed rain and snow were headed to the west coast. I hope that includes your area too.

Love that new feeder. I've not seen anything like that before.

  5. Beth, I was watching the weather forecast last evening. It looks we will miss the snow that's forecasted in your area though we may get some in a few days. Stay warm! At least you have lots of choices to stitch!

  7. I like your new feeder...It looks like yankee droll seed saver. But what kind of seed thing is that inside?

  9. Love the bunnies and deer. Nice new feeder and birds too. Great Valentine's choices as well! I sure hope you haven't gotten as much snow as they were saying. Yikes! It seems to me that all the weather these days is told to us at the last minute. They don't seem able to predict in advance anymore. At all.

  10. If the weather I heard you are going to get is correct, you might get lots of those pretty designs stitched! I love many birds but Chickadees will always be among my favorites. I got a great photo of the new bird, I will post it tomorrow.

  11. Great group of February designs, I have always loved EE&F and BOAF. I wish that they were still designing.
    That new feeder is wonderful.
Stay safe and warm in the snow.

  12. Love the bunnies, and our cats would have the same reaction, I think! We have about 3+ inches of snow here, and snowing again. Supposed to be at rehearsal in Portland tonight, but don't think it's going to happen for us. They don't have snow ploughs around here, because it doesn't snow all that much, so they're way unprepared for when it does happen. I've been refilling bird feeders like crazy--at least it's warm enough today so that the hummer's feeder didn't need repeat thawings throughout the day, like yesterday. This will all be a memory by Sunday!

  14. Where do you get those great feeders? The new one is a hit! You will be stitching some great pieces this month...I can't get into anything... have had company for 10 days and then lots of birthday stuff... maybe today on my work day off (for my birthday--isn't that nice?)I will get something accomplished. I started one project TWO different times on two fabrics last night... don't like it. Sigh...
