I've not come up with a stitching theme for April, in part because I still have a couple of charts from March's theme I'd like to stitch. That includes this Chessie & Me design "Botanical Sewing Pocket & Fob". I pulled the WDW threads and they are ultra-pretty!
The Band-tailed Pigeons are back in full force. They are big birds and voracious eaters. I've removed the platters from all of the feeders in an effort to make it harder for them to alight and eat.
Robin says, "Listen carefully!"
"Breakfast is at hand!"
Lots and lots of Pine Siskins.
The Towhees like sunflower seeds as well as peanuts.
And here's a face only a mother could love!
We now have five Turkey Vultures hanging around.
Enjoy the new stitch - such pretty colours!
ReplyDeleteLove the fabric and colors in that one. Can't wait to see it!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty colors. I hate opening the blinds and seeing the vultures sitting in the trees around the house. The record is 20 and they were all looking at the house.
ReplyDeletesweet colors..

Yikes! Turkey vultures? Yikes!!! Love your bird pics. And that Chessie and Me project -- love it!
ReplyDeleteThe colors are very pretty. Great bird pictures. We had a few Pine Siskins yesterday at the feeder. First time I think!
ReplyDeleteThose are some beautiful threads for the Botanical Sewing Pocket & Fob. The robins here in IL got a treat today as we had some very heavy rain last night. The ground must finally be thawed enough for the robins to get some worms. I love how a storm during the night with lots of lightening will make the grass turn green. Yesterday there wasn't much green at all. After last night's storm and today's sun, the grass is really getting green now.
ReplyDeleteThe Sewing pocket is beautiful when done - I HAD to stitch it last year :) The fabric is rather soft and flexible so I did find that I had to pay close attention so I didn't stitch over 1 or 3 threads at times.
ReplyDeleteLove the robin photos!
