If the blog title reminds you of a Neil Diamond song, then you are probably about the same age I am!
How do we spend September mornings around here?
Morning is the time to smell the fresh morning smells.
Morning is the time to call out a "rat-a-tat-tat-tat" - That's 'hello' in Flicker language.
Morning time is time to come out of the tall grass...
...for a nap in the golden sunlight.
Morning is the time to make sure those three cats are behaving themselves. Yes, we are watching!
Morning is the time to sing a cheerful song perched on a cloud of thistle seed.
Morning is the time to take in a moment's respite.
Morning is the time to sing a happy song!
I hope you are able to enjoy this morning.
Lovely photos of a September morning. The weather is currently split over here with us. We're having a spell of dull, overcast days, whilst down south it's glorious sunshine and very warm.
ReplyDeleteWE don't quite have the same kind of mornings here. I think it is cooler today, finally! Your post was just lovely! So many times you have pictures of hummingbirds resting. I had never seen that till your pics! Love it all of course! Deers coming out of the tall grass took my breath away! Just what I needed to cheer me when I am feeling under the weather with bronchitis and a sinus infection! Sigh... Enjoy your day now! Hugs!
