I'm going to work on Twisted Thread's "Brown Bunny". With all the adorable bunny antics of late, I felt called to stitch a small brown bunny.
Here's why:
The quail and bunnies root in the dirt...
...until they create a nice little bunny-sized (or multiple quail-sized) "dirt bath".
Mornings and evenings they flop from side to side in the dirt and dust. They then shake like a dog and hop away.
Some mornings after bathing, the soft, mellow sunlight creates the perfect setting for a 'bunny nap'.
Hands down, this napping bunny is the cutest bunny ever!
That's adorable! Never had the chance to see a bunny nap. The stitch will be a great reminder.
ReplyDeleteI love that one! Love bunnies! So cute!
ReplyDeleteAww! So sweet!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bunny pictures. Love also your next project.
ReplyDeleteI love bunny's ears - both real and stitched.
ReplyDeleteYou get the cutest photos........
ReplyDeleteThis post was so full of cute, I could hardly stand it. Thank you for the cute pictures...I needed a pick-me-up! =)
ReplyDeleteGreat pics! The bunnies in our yard don't stand still for more than a second or two. I don't think I've ever seen one nap, lol. The Brown Bunny chart is adorable.
ReplyDeleteI love your next project choice, such a sweet design, and those bunny pics are just too dang cute!
ReplyDeleteI swear! The harmony you seem to have around you. It's wonderful! A bunny so relaxed as to take a nap in full view...birds that eat from your hand...I love it! LOL
ReplyDeleteI can see why you want to work on a bunny project. They are so cute!!
ReplyDeleteOh, this is one of my favorites, Beth. I have the chart, but haven't stitched it yet so I look forward to following your progress...
ReplyDeleteJust got back from a week at the beach so I'm way, way behind at blog reading, but I did manage to look through your past 8 posts (still amazes me that you blog daily!!) and loved all of your patriotic finishes, new August header, and all those glorious nature photos--especially the full moon.
Have a great week :)
This is a great little chart that I can not BELIEVE I don't have in my stash. And, of course, the real bunnies are great too. I've been seeing tons of them lately too and I just love them.
