The Last Day of the Year

Look at the time of this post!  Are you impressed that I was up at 4:18am?  I'll confess it was for the siren's call of a 25% off cross stitch sale - Central Time Zone.  Oh, the sacrifices we stitcher make for our craft!

The last day of the year is a time for reflection.  I thought I'd end the year with a recap of my twelve favorite photos.

January 2011 - Pileated Woodpecker

February 2011 - Hellebore Blossoms

March 2011 - Blue Bird

April 2011 - Shooting Stars and Lambs' Tongues

May 2011 - Wild Iris

June 2011 - Hummingbird and Fuchsia

July 2011 - Verbena and Agastache

August 2011 - Evening Grosbeaks - Fledgling and Mom

September 2011 - Cedar Waxwings Eating Berries

October 2011 - Big Bunny

November 2011 - Large Buck

December 2011 - Junco

Which one is your favorite?

I wish everyone a most Happy New Year!

  4. It was hard to pick just from those twelve--I am glad you didn't ask about the entire blog! So I chose two--one flower one--February Hellebore, cause that is my birthday month and I love purple and pink; and the Bluebird cause he is just too cute! But I really have not come across any picture on your site that I have not enjoyed immensely, and look forward to a great year of pictures in 2012! Hugs!

  6. Although I appreciate how hard it is to get the bird shots that you get, and I can't imagine staring Mr. November in the eye...February is BEAUTIFUL. The colors on those plants are absolutely perfect to my color pallette. Nice review.
