I stitched this Prairie Schooler piece in 2009...
The big news is that I got it framed!
Design - "R is for Rabbit"
Designer - The Prairie Schooler
Fabric - 32 count Lambswool linen
Fibers - DMC
Started - 19 May 2009
Completed - 9 June 2009
Framed - August 2011
I'm really pleased with the framing job. It's stretched nice and tight and true. And the frame - what a great match with the dark green of the cabbages!
As Siobhan has noted, it's always dicey to have bunnies running around whilst having a couple of "Interested Parties" also on the loose!
We've managed to go through Spring and Summer with only one or two fatalities - way, way, way down from last year's carnage!
Here's a collage in honor of bunnies everywhere!
Love the framing and the piece! And the bunnies!!
ReplyDeleteOh, another cute collage! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI love those PS alphabet designs - they have a really crisp and unique look to them. I get so mixed up with your cats even after you introduced us to them recently - the deep orange fur of puss in the photo is lovely.
ReplyDeleteI love your PS design finish, this is one of my fave's and on my to do list.
ReplyDeleteLovely framed piece. I have some of those Prairie School designs - haven't got around to stitching them yet.
ReplyDeleteYour ginger cat looks just like my Furio. Check out his photo at http://kittenstitching.blogspot.com

I love it, Beth!! Still have to get a frame for mine, but yours has given me some ideas :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome! That frame was clearly made for that piece. Sooo perfect!!
ReplyDeleteLovely framing! The colour of that frame is just perfect for that piece.
ReplyDeleteI love your "marmalade" kitty - such a beautiful colour and markings :)
