Bunny Sampler - Finish

I'm not a big fan of French knots, but I decided to give it a go for the bunny's tail, and I think that it worked out and has the appropriate "cotton tail" effect.






Now what's next?  I've rummaged through my stash and pulled out several items.  I'll have to see what calls to me the loudest.  I may stay with bunny themed stitches for a while yet.

And what a glorious weekend!  I'm sure all the local nurseries rejoiced greatly - finally some sunny, warm weather.


My sister and I went to three different nurseries Sunday.  I'll post about that in more detail on Tuesday.

At home, Mr. Quail perched on the birdbath - looking to the left... 

and straight ahead...

...making sure that his lovely lady was safe from harm.

    aww that is a sweet finish and the knots are perfect for the tail :) been to a garden centre myself today looking for something to go into my hay basket at the front... no photos tho :( love mouse xxxx

    A quail. OMG you have a quail! He is sooooo CUTE! I wish I had a quail in my garden.
