A Finish And A Garden Update

While the sentiments are not seasonal, the chicken (rooster?) fits one of my current passions!  After looking at it longer I do think it is a fat, red hen.

Lots is happening outside too.  With the hot weather the salvias have really taken off.  The hummingbirds love them too.

Foxglove Digitalis "Honey Trumpet"

I got this Foxglove from Xera Plants - and all I can say is..."Wow!"
The Xera catalogue describes it  best as a plant that "repeatedly sends up multiple spikes of amber/honey colored bells from June until frost. Full sun to light shade and regular water in rich well-drained soil. Forms multiple handsome shiny green rosettes. Flower spikes to 2' tall x 2' wide." And it's hardy to 0F too.
