It's that time of the year!
One of the chipmunks has chosen a fall / winter abode.
A nesting box!
I've caught him going in for the evening a couple of times.
He's enlarged the entrance hole.
And he peers out at me.
I think he's spending the nights inside.
It's on the top tier of a plant stand.
The plants will go into the greenhouse before the first frost.
I'd like to peek inside and see what materials he's used to create a cozy abode.
That is too sweet. There's no place like home!
