Lots of bird action the past few days.

My raptor expert tells me this is a young, female Sharp-shinned Hawk.

She hangs out most mornings.

Not sure quite what I 'captured' here.

Warblers are beginning to appear.  Got the backside of an Orange-crowned Warbler. Also saw to Black-throated Gray Warblers.

Nice size comparison of a male Downy and male Hairy Woodpecker.

Now let's add in a Red-breasted Nuthatch!

  1. Your Rabbit stitch is adorable. The young hawk is a beauty. Love her coloring!

  2. That is the cutest little rabbit cross stitch! I love seeing the warblers. They are usually such pretty colors! We have been hearing lots of owls in our woods. A neighbor even got swooped by one while out on an evening walk!
