A Friday Finish!

Design - Sadie Stuart "Summer Bee Sampler"
Designer - Sam Sarah Design Studio
Fabric - 28 count WDW Blue Jeans Gingham
Fibers - GAST Simply Shaker Colors - 2 strands over 2 threads
Started - 15 June 2012
Completed - 27 June 2012

Well I just LOVED stitching this from start to finish.
I changed it a bit and stitched my name instead of Sadie's, and changed the date to 2012.  The instructions were wonderful - including creating the chenille flowers - a cake-walk!

We are bounding with bunnies lately.

Look at the bottom left of the wood pile - there's a bunny!

This little guy.

Doesn't he look like something out of a story book?

Peter Rabbit perhaps?

The Chipmunks demanded "Equal Cute Photo Time"...

So we will oblige them.

And now back to our regularly scheduled Bunny programming...

It appears the right side is the best profile...

...for this bunny anyway.

  4. Those flowers turned out great! That's a really good looking bee too! We've noticed an abundance of bunnies in our yard too. Miss Shelby is having a ball chasing them!

  6. I clicked on the wood pile photo and noticed a little chipmunk at the bottom right of the photo as well as the sweet little rabbit at the left. Your bee finish is very bonnie.

  10. Congrats on the Friday finish - it looks awesome!

We have an abundance of bunnies too. And those little critters you call chipmunks (we call them ground squirrels) have been causing alot of damage to my flowers.

  14. So cute! (The stitching not the rabbit. Since my dog turns into the Tasmanian devil at the end of a leash when she sees a rabbit, I couldn't look at the rest of the pictures. But I love your finish!)

  15. Bee Sampler turned out adorable! I love the chenille flowers on it, and the purple linen was a great choice.

Very cute bunnies, hopefully they're learning to avoid the cats!

  16. What is it with the bunnies lately?? I've been seeing them everywhere the last couple weeks for some reason, on my walks and stuff. Big ones, little ones. All cute. :)

Super great finish! Nice to see that the chenille flowers aren't too hard to do. I have that pattern on my wish list (big surprise) but I did wonder about those and if I would have to substitute for them with a button or whatnot.
