Ode to the Osoberry
Osoberry, Osoberry, Osoberry!
The blooms of the Osoberry or Indian Plum (Osmaronia cerasiformis) are among the earliest signs of spring in western Oregon. It leafs-out and unfurls it's long trailing blossoms.
Then it blooms making the hummingbirds happy.

Happy almost spring!
What a pretty plant! I don't think we have them around here.
