I walked down to the Big Creek and watched and listened to birds there.

 

Sometimes it's something ordinary, like a Robin.

Other times I get something more usual.

Like a Wrentit.

They usually lurk in the brush, so are hard to photograph.

Not much to look at, but a lovely and distinctive song.

And an even prettier singer.

A Bewick's Wren.

Couldn't be happier with this pose.
