Many folks in this area are commenting on how many goldfinches there are at their feeders. 

I have a good number of birds, but not as many as I had a week or so ago.  Year after year, 'my' goldfinches depart by the end of October and do not reappear until April.

    Your Indian Corn stitch is sweet, Beth! We have noticed an increase in Blue Jays this week.
