In the heat of the afternoon, a California Ground Squirrel found some shade among my plants.

    The last photo of the squirrel made me chuckle. The fawns are looking good. Glad to see the critters enjoying the company of each other.

    You know it is hot when the squirrels do that! I saw the same thing last week.
