September Trail Camera Photos - Dorothy's Creek - Camera #1

I have lots of photos to show, many of them nocturnal.
This camera is just a few feet from our driveway.
To the left is Dorothy's Creek - a seasonal creek that the deer ford wet or dry.  On the right is a path the animals regularly use.

The camera caught a Steller's Jay having a drink.

Raccoon

Buck Rogers

Here he is again.

In September the light is lower...

Coming through...

Four at a time.

And now on to the mostly nocturnal photos...

Early in the month a young bear decided to mark this tree...

...I wonder who he sees.

But we've barely gotten started (pun!)

Here's a sow with her three cubs!

Aren't they just adorable?

Besides a bear, there was a bobcat...

...and a Big Cat!

Three Big Cats!
A mother cougar (to the right) and her two kittens (left).

Cougar cubs or kittens live with their mother for two years.

Given the size of these animals, I think they are in their second year.

They look to be beautiful animals.

Mama headed off, but the kids continued to drink away.

Slurp.

One last photo - pretty cool!

  8. Wow! Makes my badgers look a little low rent. Takes all of my 'four-bearance' not to be jealous.
