The daffodils are the star performers from mid-March through mid-April.
They can naturalize and 'move' with the help of rodents.
So you never know where you might see them.
My family has planted dozens and dozens in the years that we've lived here.
Our earliest, February Gold blooms at the end of February while our latest, Pheasant's Eye is a May bloomer.
We are getting some nice strong stands of flowers.
They are a cheery sight on a gray rainy day.
Passionale is my favorite. Amazingly this thrives in the deep dry shade of oak trees.
Orange and yellow...
White and yellow...
And orange and white.
There's something for everyone!
I am without daffodils at this home. I keep saying I am going to do it, I think maybe THIS fall I will finally will. I want PINK daffs.
