Yes, I do have lots of owl charts and kits don't I?
Owl be busy stitching them this month (bird pun - double points!).
On Saturday morning my mom, sister, and I headed off to our local grange for the Harvest Festival Celebration.
The grange hosts the Community Growers' Market and with the festival...
...there were more vendors then usual - over a dozen.
One booth pressed apples...
...for juice and cider.
Felt hats for sale.
Artfully designed items.
Dried flowers.
Fresh produce.
Grains and cereals.
Woven hotpads.
Squash
The guys' hang out - knife sharpening!
Horse shoe pumpkins
Apple filled goodies - these came home with us.
Knitted sweater.
Autumn bouquet.
Old time fiddle music.
This sums up the festival and the season!
I love these sort of festivals and fairs. Most here have become so overcrowded and commercialized though. The Wool Festival is still nice. What lovely photos of your day. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLooks like so much fun! Love the variety of what is available to look at and buy!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the photos of your fun outing. I love your inventory of own patterns. I've never seen the Notforgotten Farm owl design before. Thread your needle and get started!
