Oh but it has hot yesterday. And unusually for this part of the country it was still 92f at 8:00pm. So no Wednesday walk due to the heat.
We had reason to think there might be a problem with our Trail Camera, so we took it down 10 days into the month. As it turned out the camera was working just fine. Here are some of the best photos for the month thus far.
The raccoon looks like it heard the camera as it took this photo.
And finally, a photo of a fawn!
Isn't he/she adorable?
Here's Mama and her baby.
So far she has not come anywhere near the house with her fawn.
We do have a rather handsome buck who walks by the camera regularly. Again, he has not come near the house.
The camera 'captures' a Bob-Cat every few days.
It makes me wonder just how many we have.
Or is it the same animal over and over again.
Finally, a really nice photo of the Bob-Cat strolling along in the early afternoon. Last year we had a female and kittens come by. I'm still hoping!
One year ago today Mom and I visited Chartwell and Emmett's Garden.
It's pretty cool to have caught those pictures unbeknownst to the wildlife!

What a cute little July bird! A great bob-cat photo. I can understand why you are wondering how many you have.
