Fireworks! And on dark fabric too. Once again though I found it pretty straightforward stitching on the navy fabric. I stitched outside and the natural light made it easy to see the holes and keep on track.
On the home-front we had the potential for fireworks.
A young doe decided to check out Padma and Parvati Hufflepuff.
She was extremely curious.
Getting closer.
And closer still.
Padma is an alpha-cat, and generally he does not back down from a confrontation.
"Hmmmm," says the deer with a swipe of her tongue.
Even closer, and still Padma does not cede any ground.
Well, perhaps finally a little too close for Padma's comfort.
So let's go check out Parvati!
Circling around...
"HISSSSS!," says Parvati.
I think Parvati is a Slytherin (rather than a Hufflepuff) as she sounds just like a snake when she gets riled!
The cats say, "Retreat and live to fight another day."
Wow--that is one cheeky deer! Great commentary!

ReplyDeleteCute ornament Beth. I have kitted up and ornament to stitch on black (have not done this before so am looking forward to seeing what I think of it).

ReplyDeleteI like your fireworks and this post is just adorable! :)
ReplyDeleteThose pictures sure made me smile. That deer was very brave,
ReplyDeleteHow cool that you were able to capture the kitty and deer encounter. I was lucky enough to watch a tame deer and raccoon share mulberries under the mulberry tree.
