Is there a more appropriate time to look at nativities than Christmas Eve?
I display my collection on six shelves - behind glass doors, and thus safe from curious cats.
I've about maxed out my display space, so I need to think long and hard before making any more additions.
The top left is called "The Bethlehem Experience", the one on the right is by Sue Dreamer.
The far left is a Jim Shore nativity. The glass prism nativity is one I bought at a cathedral shop while in England. The far right nativity with the cobalt blue sky is a simple children's nativity - a $10 purchase from Target.
This is a mix of Hallmark and Lang and Wise nativities with a Jim Shore in the back left. My favorite is the center one, "Pillars of Heaven", which can be displayed several different ways moving the block figures around.
On to cupboard number two!
The top left is a new purchase (yep, from Hiron's). The center is a WilliRaye nativity, the far right another by Sue Dreamer.
Hallmark nativities on the left and right and the front center Peanuts is also from Hallmark. The cream figures are by Lenox - originally I gifted them to my grandmother, and upon her passing they were returned to me as a memento.
This is called "Winter Carols" by Demdeco. I love the style and the funkiness of having Christmas trees as part of the display.
I hope you enjoyed my Nativity Tour.
I wish all of you a most Merry Christmas!
