A bit disappointing.  My Thrush did not show up nor did the Flickers or any other woodpeckers.

  2. That is still a lot of birds to see. We have lots of birds here. Sometimes we get an entire "cloud" of blackbirds that hang out in our huge oak trees.

  4. Wonderful bird counts. I certainly don't have that many different birds, but I did get a pic of an owl perched right outside AND I get to count it. How cool is that!

  5. Fantastic bird counts! My daughter was marveling at the different birds that were coming up to the window to get the bird seed we put out on the ledges (to try--key word is try) to deter the crows that keep watch on our yard. It was fun to see her so excited, she kept running out and putting out more seed and then trying to scare the crows off the ledges. (We put out other seed for them.)
