Clear back in May of 1999 I stitched "Itty Bitty Glory" by Twisted Threads over one on 32 count linen . I then gave it to my Mom who loves all things red, white, and blue.
A few weeks ago she took it in to be framed.
I think they did a very nice job.
It now lives on a bookcase in the family room.
This bunny looks a little beat up. I'm hoping he's molting rather than battle-scared.
In late August and throughout the Fall we have lots of deer. They seek water - straight from my bird fountains, or in the lush green of the plants in our flowerbeds.
There are signs of their presence everywhere!
The quail on the other hand, remain very cautious, which with three Outdoor Cats is a very good thing.
I found these prints in the road dust near the Trail Camera. They seem large to me - I wonder if they belong to the Grouse rather than the Quail.
I love the display in your mom's family room. So patriotic! The framing came out great! We have deer tracks around us too -- it's fun to see them in the snow in wintertime.
ReplyDeletePoor little bunny indeed. I hope nothing's got hold of him or that he doesn't have a disease either. Nature can be tough.
ReplyDeletei love the display so much too..it is very sweet..

I agree, I think they did a great job. I have to confess, I am a lover of all things red, white, and blue too! Great display!
ReplyDeleteOver one, with all those solid colors, oh my! It looks great on display.
ReplyDeleteYou must have good eyesight to be able to stitch over 1 on 32 count. Good job on the peice.
ReplyDeleteWhoa. That bunny is looking ROUGH. Yikes. :(
ReplyDeleteGreat framing job!!
