Wow! And this is an awesome collection of pictures of woodpeckers! You made me exclaim many times! In fact, the not one, but two, no three Sapsuckers reminded me of my four Glossy Ibises recently! The storm off our coast (named Julia) FINALLY broke apart and is moving away, so I might get outside soon! I sure hope I see a Sapsucker this year--haven't yet!! Or a Red-Headed!! Thanks for sharing! That reminded me, we had a birch tree limb come down (here, in Milwaukee) and the sheer size of the hole that the woodpeckers had pecked over a long time; it could fit a raccoon in it!!!
