Hail Hail The Guys Are All Here

Design - "Snow"
Designer - Val's Little Stuff
Fabric - 30 count WDW Mocha linen
Fibers - GAST Shaker Threads - 2 strands over 2 threads
Started - 31 January 2013
Completed - 2 February 2013

I like the more muted colors used in the Shaker Threads pallet.

We had a lovely muted sunrise Monday morning.

In the morning after setting out bird food, I sat on the back patio with the cats for a bit.  I notice a group of birds flying around and watched them as the landed in a big fir tree near our house.

They took flight again almost immediately and came to my feeder.
Five!  Count 'em!  Five Grosbeak Guys!

Wow - I have never had that many this time of year.
I think they are taunting me, and will all disappear before the Great Backyard Bird Count begins.

You probably think this fawn is watching me.

Nope.  She's watching Padma-Cat who is watching her...

  7. Cute snowman stitch! That's alot of Grosbeak guys. I'm surprised the deer come right onto you patio with Padma so close. There's no way my Dottie Dog would just sit and watch deer walk around in her yard!
